Welcome to Etchingham Church of England School. I am
delighted that you have chosen to consider our school for your child’s
education. Etchingham is
a small, rural school, with an intake of about 15 children each year. All of the children live in the village or villages close by. We have always attained very good results, but this is not the only reason that we are a good school. The staff here have many years teaching experience and they know that children learn best in a happy and secure environment. We ensure that the ethos of the school is based on Christian principles coupled with high expectations for all. That is why we believe that a strong partnership between home and school is crucial to your child developing their full potential. The curriculum is taught in an integrated way with emphasis on creativity. Children’s work and achievements are regularly celebrated by staff and parents.
